About
My Story
Connie has always had this desire to serve and help others. She wanted to be a teacher and to educate our future generations. However, the teachers who made the greatest impacts in her life told her that she was destined to help others on a bigger scale. They recommended a career in law, which quickly became her passion, and she pursued her dreams.

Connie graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Political Science. Upon graduation, Connie worked at the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office as a legal assistant before she attended law school. She knew then that she made the right choice to practice law.
During law school, Connie returned to the State Attorney’s Office during a summer break and completed 130 pro bono hours in one month to assist felony trial attorneys. She was selected 1 out of 50 in the country to complete an Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps internship during her second summer of law school where she gained incredible insight on Federal Law and our Military Justice system. Connie provided in-court advocacy for a semester with Barry’s Juvenile Defense Clinic to help youth get back on track and hopefully turn their lives around.
Connie then received her Juris Doctorate from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida. Throughout law school, Connie was involved in 12 student organizations, 8 of which she was on the Executive Boards. During this time, Connie was very involved in the community and gained practical experience to better prepare herself for the practice of law.
Following graduation, Connie worked as a Law Clerk at a law firm specializing in Estate Planning & Estate Administration. Upon passage of the Bar, she decided to become an Assistant State Attorney in Hillsborough County and later Seminole County, where she prosecuted thousands of criminal cases, including traffic and misdemeanor cases.
Connie now brings her trial experience and wealth of knowledge to Sunshine State Law Firm to assist our clients with homeowner’s insurance claims.
Outside of work, Connie enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Jackson, going on adventures with her dog, Postal, and creating unforgettable memories with her nephew, Chance, who she intends to adopt, and her soon to be stepson, Nolan.
Connie is admitted to practice in the Middle District of Florida.
