FAQs
Who is our typical client?
Anyone who is making an insurance claim. Anyone who has had an injury that’s disrupted their lives. If you think the insurance company is trying to take advantage of you, they probably are. Contact us today and we will review your case for free.
How do we get paid?
Insurance claims are handled under a “contingency fee contract”. What is a contingancy fee contract? It basically means there are no fees unless damages are recovered. Even then the client never pays our fee, the insurance companies do, thats why there is no risk to consult us on your case.
Why should I hire an attorney?
If you have suffered a loss or damages we help our clients recover compensation. Nothing can change what has happened to you but the remedy the law has is monetary compensation to help pay your bills and get you back on your feet.
How do I know if I have a case?
Every case has its own set of unique circumstances. The truth is the only way to know if you have a case is to have one of our attorneys review it for you. That is why we make sure there is no cost or obligation to consulting one of our attorneys and we always have your best interests in mind.
What is your role in the case?
Your role is to get better and recover from any injury or loss you could have experienced. When we take on your case, we handle your claim, build your case, and communicate with the insurance company. Your job is to focus on yourself in this time. Check out our blog post on how to handle stress during a case.
Do I need an attorney if the accident wasn’t my fault?
Yes, absolutely. You need someone on your side after an accident. There is still a lot of work to do to prove your damages and the extent of the damages you’ve suffered in an accident. Don’t expect the insurance companies to have your best interest in mind, their best interest is the bottom line.
What if I get in a Rideshare accident?
Being involved in a rideshare accident is the same as any accident except they are required to carry a significant amount of insurance to make sure YOU are protected. That gets you past the first step in your case in making sure there is insurance coverage.
How long is my case going to take?
This is a difficult question to answer because it depends on how long it will take you to recover from the accident. We always hope for a quick resolution and recovery but we will stay on the case as long as needed to make sure there is a full recovery.
Will my insurance rates go up?
In Florida, you are protected by law in most cases if you are not at fault in an accident. Every case is different when making an insurance claim but usually the answer is no, your rates will not go up.
