MY STORY
For as long as she can remember, justice and advocacy have been core values for Dana, making the decision to become a plaintiff’s attorney a natural path for her.
“It always seems impossible until it's done.”
Although Dana’s journey to becoming an attorney began much earlier, it formally started at Florida State University, where she studied Political Science and International Affairs. During her time at Florida State, she had the opportunity to begin formally learning about advocacy through her work as a Red Cross volunteer, gaining experience in International Human Rights Law. She also worked as a youth advocate, mentoring adolescents from across Florida.
After graduating from Florida State, Dana continued her passion for youth advocacy, serving as an advocate for homeless youth in the Central Florida region. She remained in the public service arena for several years, gaining perspective and a deeper understanding of diverse populations.Dana then pursued her legal education at Florida A&M University College of Law. During this time, she interned in one of the State of Florida’s first-ever Conviction Integrity Units, where she worked to prevent, identify, and remedy false convictions.
Dana believes it is important to use our skills to serve others and is committed to carrying that forward in her work for you.
